[...] Oh yeah!!! 90% baby!!! Put that on your hot cross bun and eat it! Anyway, I also saw my supervisor today so she can update on how well I’m doing overall. Turns out if I can’t be arsed to do any work this semester and get 0% in everything I’d end up with 57% (not bad for a slacker). However, if I want to get a 1st I have to get (wait for this, its fantastic)… I have to get a mere 57% in the rest of modules!! How great is that!! Looks like I’ll be completing another of my 25 challenges this year! [...]

[...] Sorry, I digress. At the end of the meal, instead of recieving the bill and plate full of mint imperials (probably plucked out from peoples coat pockets), we recieved the bill and… a red envelope. “Exciting!” I hear you say. Well, no, but what was inside the envelope is what freaked me out a little (tho the significance of the contents only occured to me a few hours later whilst on the phone). Inside this red envelope was… a ticket! A National Lottery Ticket!! For this wednesday’s draw!!! You’re probably think, “Lucky you! But what’s with the destiny/fate stuff?”. Well, one of my 25 challenges for this year is to win on the lottery without buying a ticket! I have to admit when I came up with that particular challenge I was thinking I’d have to bribe people to buy me tickets, but I never expected to actually get a ticket like this! I’m so excited and slightly freaked out by this coincidence. I know the picture is a bit crap, but the numbers are 4, 14, 20, 38, 39, 45. Even if we win a tenner I’d be over the moon and consider that challenge done! I’ll keep you posted on wednesday! [...]

[...] Well, I’ve just got back from London having completed another of my challenges with the aid of Amy (cheers chuck!!). I feel pretty pleased that I’ve actually done two of them now! It doesn’t feel like some pointless wishlist that I came up with in a moment of boredom, but it has become meaningful list of life-fulling challenges (yeah, whatever!). [...]

[...] Challenge Complete UPDATE: I uploaded the wrong version initially, so if it sounds dodgy, thats why. This is the correct version!Ok, here it is! The first mix of 2006 done mainly so I can cross off one of my challenges for this year. I’m really chuffed with this mix. It’s a mixture of hip hop, jazz, drum & bass, electro. It’s kinda scruff like i suppose. I recommend it for revising too (well i’ve been revising to it, it’s a nice kinda backgroundy mix). I tried to do a few special bits in it (overlapping songs, eg. scruff & DJ Vadim, dropping samples in, destiny’s child over shadow). I’m pretty sure none of the tracks class as cheese so i would say that means I can cross challenge number18 off my list, unless anyone beg’s to differ? Listen here (mp3, 40Mb) [...]
