Mix Of The Month: April

Finally got round to doing a mix!!! Though I’m still in the process of tidying it up a bit at the moment, so chances are it’ll be done and posted in about an hour. This month’s mix reflects what I’ve been listening to a lot of recently… Electro!!!

Timmy Tekno Funk has been getting me into electro more & more. I have in the past dipped my toes in its murky water, especially with Soulwax, 2manydjs, Erol Alkan and the odd bit of Jacques Le Cont, but I’ve now fully immersed myself in its delights! This mix is filled with random nuggets I’ve found whilst scouring the internet avoiding work. I won’t be surprised if not many people like it, but I like to vary what I play, so here’s another aspect to my music tastes. I would love to point people towards the end of th mix (52mins 42secs) where I’ve included a special mini-mix I’ve been working on including Prodigy, Aphex Twin, Depeche Mode, Underworld, Daft Punk, Chemical Brothers & Primal Scream – all of which I’ve loving crafted together into a 15minute overlayed mess of melody!
