Getting Fat

One of main challenges for the year is to get fat. I’ve been a skinny prawn all my life and now I’m back home again sponging off my parents before I start work, I’ve decided to eat as much as I can. So far I’m not doing too badly. My initial weight was 9st 3lb on Monday (very light). Then on Thursday morning I weighed 9st 7lb (still very light). I’m aiming to hit 10st 5lb (with a bit of belly) by the end of the summer. So stay tuned for weight updates!
Challenge Complete: I Got A 1st!!!

Got back from Mallorca at 7am this morning (I’m soo soo tired). I had a letter from Uni telling me I got a 1st in my Degree!!! Sadly, I was unable to do the skinny dipping on holiday cos it was far too dark and far too cold (so you would’ve have seen very little proof). I have decided to hold off on this one until I next go to Mallorca. I did put the silent P in ocean, in preparation for putting the silent P in swimming pool. I have to say, I enjoyed the experience. Peeing in the sea is very liberating!
Another Challenge Completed: Celebrity Handshaking

Wahey! Things are going well! I’ve seen 3 celebrities in the past 2 days! I shoke only two hands and I only have proof of one handshake:
- The first major celeb (biggest of the lot infact) was Mr Bruce Willis!!! He of Die Hard fame! Yes, the one with the bald head and used to be married to Demi Moore. I took a few pictures, and I’ll whack them online after my holiday.
- The second semi-major celeb was… Sonic the Hedgehog! Ok, not quite a celeb, but still I thought I’d shake his hand as a back up. I have proof of this one, but Amy has the photo, so I’ll put up when she gets a chance to email it me.
The third and final celeb was Mr Jarvis Cocker. He of Pulp fame. The “Common People” singerer. I went to see him DJ last night and it was AWESOME!!!! The guy is leg end (aka ankle). James has loads of pics which I’ll put up when he sends them me, but sadly he was too starstruck when I shook Jarvis’s hand as he made his way to the toilet.
I’ll still keep my eyes open for more celeb handshaking opportunities, but for now I’m crossing it off my list! I’m off to Mallorca 2mz with Laura to go gatecrash my big bro and his fianceés place. I’ll be back next saturday with photo’s, stories and the obligitary sun burn – keepin’ it real for the Brits! See you in a week!

I said a while ago I completed these two challenges but I’ve been waiting for Will to give the photo’s. Finally I have them and they should be uploaded into my gallery very soon (which seems to have cocked up since I last played with it. I’ll fix it at some point.) Anyway, proof number one of my tattoo!! Yes you can’t believe a good boy like me would ever get a tattoo!?! Well It’s true!
Yes I know I look like a twat in all of them, but I was quite merry!!! As for the pink… Well it turns out Will doesn’t have many clear pictures of the dress, but there’s one of the state of it at rhe end of the night…

Yeah beast! Jus got back from Torremelinos and I got me tattoo and I wore pink! I think thats counts as those two down… await for pictures of proof!!!

Well I had my last exam yesterday. My word it was tough, trying to remember pre-written answers. It was the one where our lecturer had already emailed us the exam paper by accident! Haha! So now I’m free to do all the random things I wanted to! Finish off ThirtyBots, make my Shuttle PC for DJing (money permitting), and complete a load more of my 25 challenges. I’ve not forgotten them! Infact I’ve started learning Spanish for when I go to Mallorca & my Didgeridoo skills are coming on swimmingly. I can almost do circular breathing, but I can’t get enough puff to keep the didgeridoo sound going. I’ve also been looking into Kayaking courses and founf Plas Menai, where I used to do them, have a one day Eskimo Roll Kayaking session!! £60 though is pushing it a bit, even if it is in a heated pool and i get a free packed lunch.
So for my first day of freedom I’m gonna get on thirtybots, which I’m gonna make into generic bot called JimBot. I’m gonna tidy up the code, iron out a few bugs and create some funky documentation so people can easily create handlers to make it do whatever they want! For example, thirtybots is just a handler I’ve created. Hence why it made more sense to create a generic bot. Off I go then.
Uni Results (plus what I’ll get if I graduate now!)

Well I got my results from my modules last semester. To be fair I think I did bloody awesome.
- CS4901 – Summer Project Stuff – 64%
- CS6171 – UML & User Interface Stuff – 71%
- CS6321 – Computer Animation Stuff – 78%
- ET4001 – Entrepreurial Commercialisation of Knowledge (honestly that’s what its called!) – 67%
- and finally (my favourite)…
- CS6191 – Extreme Java (what a cool name) – 90%
Oh yeah!!! 90% baby!!! Put that on your hot cross bun and eat it!
Anyway, I also saw my supervisor today so she can update on how well I’m doing overall. Turns out if I can’t be arsed to do any work this semester and get 0% in everything I’d end up with 57% (not bad for a slacker). However, if I want to get a 1st I have to get (wait for this, its fantastic)… I have to get a mere 57% in the rest of modules!! How great is that!! Looks like I’ll be completing another of my 25 challenges this year!
