Bit of electro, hip hop and Phil Collins for good measure.

  4. Powertools (47Mb mp3)Post (and tracklist)
Trying my hand some Scally bass heavy mixing

27 tracks in 5 Minutes. A sound to behold.
  6. The Avalanches – G-Mix (21 MB wma)Post (and tracklist)
One of the greatest Mixes ever made! The Avalanches GMix has inspired a lot of style.
  7. 1 to 12 (14 MB wma)Post (and tracklist)
Simple. Make a mix where each track includes some number starting from 1 and finishing at 12 (because I could find a decent 13)
  8. May Mini-mix (2 MB wma)Post (and tracklist)
My first minimix. Only 12 tracks but still 5 minutes.
  9. May Day mix (30 MB wma)Post (and tracklist)
Early signs of my electro obsession appearing
  10. Liam Howlett Breezeblock Mix (48 MB mp3)Post (and tracklist)
The pre-cursor to the Dirtchamber Sessions. Again another huge influence on my style.
  11. Emulsion: Hot Paprika Mix (21 MB wma)Post (and tracklist)
One of beatmixing.com Mixes. Featuring Public Enemy, Air, Blondie and Led Zep.
  12. Challenge Complete Mix (40 MB mp3)Post (and tracklist)
The aim, to make a mix. Very Mr Scruff-esque
  13. Tearfund Fashion Show Mix (24 MB wma)Post (and tracklist)
I was asked to soundtrack a Tearfund fashion of fairtrade clothing. Here is the result!
  14. How Am I Supposed To Know? Mix (28 MB wma)Post (and tracklist)
I don’t know what triggered this one. Again a mixture of hip hop, jazz and… Phil Collins (I think I’m obsessed!)
  15. DJ Yoda Mini Mix from 2005 (6 MB mp3)Post (and tracklist)
Easily one of my favourite DJs. This guy can start any party! Here’s his 5minute mini mix from 2005
  16. Party Time Vol 2 – The Dance Competition Mix (31 MB wma)Post (and tracklist)
My attempt at a series of Mixes based around kids parties. This one is mostly hip hop with some nice mashups of Destiny’s child and Jimi Hendrix.
  17. The Mul Mix (34 MB wma)Post (and tracklist)
By far one of my favourite mixes. I made this for Rick’s bday. It’s full of hip hop and mashups.
  18. Party Time Vol 1 – Musical Statues (32 MB wma)Post (and tracklist)
The first Party Time mix! Features Rick Astley before Rick-rolling was even invented!
  19. 21st Birthday Set Part I (24 MB wma)Post (and tracklist)
I DJed at my own 21st and made the first hour a mashup extravanga, including a nice Star Wars themed intro
  20. 30% Michael Mix (28 MB wma)Post (and tracklist)
Another birthday mix. This time I’d put together a Michael Jackson mega mix part way through, hence the name 30% Micheal

March Mix of The Month

Once again, what with having three consecutive intensive courses and my finals in just under a week, I haven’t had time to do a proper mix. So, I’ve done a bit of digging instead (funny i had time for that!) and plucked out an extremely old and rare Breezeblock from Radio 1. For those of you that know and love the Prodigy, you may also have heard of the spectacular Dirtchamber Sessions mix CD. Well, this is the Breezeblock mix that Liam Howlett did that then inspired him to tidy it up and release it as a full blown CD. If you’ve heard the Dirtchamber sessions then you’ll recognise bits of this, but i should point out that it is not a simple clone. The two are different and if you’ve heard one you haven’t heard them all (or the other one in this case)
